DRC is holding its 5th Annual Membership Dinner and 28th Anniversary Celebration on November 4, 2005 at the Holiday Inn By the Bay in Portland, Maine. The celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m.

This year's keynote speaker is United States Congressman Tom Allen. Congressman Allen has gained national recognition for his leadership on health care, especially in the fight to reduce the price of prescription drugs for older Americans. He is also a leader in initiating a restoration of fiscal discipline to the federal budget process, and fully funding the federal share for mandates imposed by Congress on state and local governments for special education and No Child Left Behind.
