DRC's 27th ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DINNER

DRC is holding its 27th Annual Membership Dinner on November 5, 2004 at the Marriott Sable Oaks in South Portland, Maine. The celebration will begin at 5:15 p.m.

This year's key note speaker is United States Senator Susan M. Collins. Senator Collins has shown great commitment to improving children's mental health services and supports. Because parents of children with mental health issues often are forced to relinquish custody of their children in order to access necessary services, Senator Collins convened a hearing on custody relinquishment and introduced legislation in the Senate to improve coordination between agencies that serve children with mental and emotional health needs and to expand access to home– and community– based services.
